| Welcome mate, another Calibra lover. your heading certainly caught my attention. But be warned about the mixed feelings here on Mig towards a Calibra. And if yours is a turbo 4x4 keep it well clearr of any Corsa or Nova fans as they desperately seek Calibras as a donor car with turbo engines. Mine is pretty safe with an Eccotec.

Yeh i wish i had a Turbo! I have normal redtop, normalish, lol.
Mixed feelings towards calibras? hmm thats weird, I think its one of the best vauxhalls, by far one of the best looking cars! Aerodynamic, would maybe be beter with rear wheel drive and i cant do doughnuts, lol. |

| Welcome to MIG.
There is a jet powered Calibra knocking around actually And yes there are a few people on here who have an inferiority complex when it comes to these cars! Just knock em down with the dozens of reasons they are better than other Vx's! Some day they'll realise! |

| nothing wrong with callys it is still one of the most aerodynamic cars on the road there is also nothing wrong with nicking the engins out of them but only if they have got lexus lights and possably if they have had a smack my prefrence is to remove omegas engines and put them in callys.

| lol, yeh thanks for the welcomes guys, who said theres anything wrong with a cally? lol, i love my car to bits.
yeh you dont need to worry about lexus lights on mine, i have a flame red cally on 17s lowered, colourcoded with a nice system and exhaust enough for now, i think the lights suit red callys tho so im ok.
Jet engines, lol doubt thats possible or would be very crazy, Hammond is a reason i wouldnt trust it tho!
I seen that cally before mystery machine, what isit 540 bhp? That looks really fast i have seen the videos on youtube. i dont like the over the top intercoolers tho. looks a bit weird. |

The intercoolers arent over the top for the spec, even between them they are barely any bigger than a standard RS500 one.
Big power per litre NEEDS a lot of intercooling. |

He has two intercoolers. one for each of the two turbos, so hardly overkill
The third one is OBVIOUSLY an oil cooler, look at the size of the pipework FFS! |

Intake - Turbo - Intercooler - Turbo - Intercooler - Engine
Seems a perfectly logical way to do things to me TBH
Im of the opinion if you are going to spec a calibra turbo (that you know nothing about) based on what you think the engine bits should look like, not on what they do, then you have little if anything at all to bring to such discussions, maybe you should just try reading for a while and you might learn some stuff? |

| his weird, this isnt a discussion about how to do up turbos, it was bought into the thread, its about me saying hi!
some people, yeh its not simple and once upon a time you didnt know **** either, as far as i know most calibras have one turbo, even the high power ones, lol. until i get a turbo no need me knowing either! After all im here to learn, so thakyou for sharing with me lol |
