well i prefer the subtleness of the GSI hence its lowered and has a few pimped mods here and there.

    he he

    welcome to MIG

so far i have fitted engine wise:-
    pre cat pipe (very recomended)
    sports cat
powerflow exhaust (supposed to be a performance item)
induction kit (draws in hot air but sounds ok, needs cool air TBH)
    VXR turbo
    uprated actuator
allusport 600x60x165 universal bumper mount intercooler
    4x tip irridium spark plugs
    stainless induction pipe

after the above it killed the standard clutch in 7 weeks so had a courtenaysport lighter flywheel and sports clutch fitted. now running 263bhp/275ftlbs.

more info here:- mystery machines zafira gsi

Wow, thats a serious bit of kit, i like. The OPC grill looks cool better than the imms.....
Where'd you get it and how much?
Been looking at the courtney stage one tune 245hp for £465. Is it worth it and does it increase the fuel comsuption even more???
Have you the rear parking sensors?

I got the original sales brouchre with it aswell so been looking at all the options i haven't got, well apart from Climate control.

the grills can be found on ebay mate, i payed £20 for mine (the only badge that fits the hole is the meriva boot badge)

TBH a cs1 is a good tweek for the bus (i recomend the pre cat replacement with the cs1) its a very mild tweek with the cars mapping and yes it will make a little difference with fuel consumption but it think u'll find it worth while especially after your first drive in it

the only thing is typical of power gains.... the more you have.... the more you want

I think it is a good tweek and a fair price as well.

Unfortunatly i know only too well about how tuning takes hold , the R5 GTT was running 14.8secs at the pod and the Cossie was 266bhp typical stage 1, was thinking about stage 3 but the cost of a re-build put me off.

A good friend has a Black R34 Skyline V-spec which he has spent a small fortune with Abbey Motorsport. Still he does have 850bhp to play with!! He never seems to have it though as it's always at Abbey's!! I'm geting to old for all that now and with the family in-tow i decided for the Zaffy GSi. Not really heard anything bad about them seem to get good write-ups.

i've been lucky with mine, over the past year it has only trashed 2x driveshafts (i know there is a 300bhp one on one of the sites) and AFAIK it has been like clockwork. and being totally fair the last one that exploded was 2nd hand

my bus did a 15.1 last year at the pod, not bad considering how heavy they are.

nah, i'm more sensible than that.... and considering a cossy with 260hp should be doing mid 13's ish the weight of the bus has lots to answer for.

when u getting the bus delivered?

CS1 = more power & better mpg!!!! Will have to look into that!!

I'm picking her up on Saturday. Really wanna see what she can do, haven't had a turbo motor since the Cossy, be nice to get it spining up again!

Will have to fight the temptation to add an induction kit for the wastegate flutter, is thats still possible with the GSi??

when you actually consider its a people carrier and not a hot hatch, u'll find the fun you can have in a bus is amazing, and that people think they'll waste you from the lights then struggle when they change. lmao

i didnt find any real change in economy when i had CS2 done (appart from the fact i was booting it eveywhere)

spanishfly has fitted a 1x way valve in his car (i'm not sure how he done it or the part he used) but its got major waste gate chatter i'm using an induction kit on the bus ATM turbo sool up from outside the car is very loud... but i am over boosting @ 22psi

22psi!! is that on the VXR turbo!! I would have never thought you could turn it up that much! I was running 16-17psi on the Cossy, 22psi must be great fun!!

I've read you can't fit an in-car bleed value (not that i would want to as we all know they are turbo killers) like the one i had on the GTTurbo, i that it thats because of the Zaffy's ECU? So would be interested to know what this one way valve is??

Would be interested to see what bhp i have standard, do you lot get to Engine Advantages past chemlsford on the A12?? Haven't been to a Rolling road since did a Performance Ford day there years ago!!

22psi is over boost, it holds around 16-17psi.

one user recently had a switchable system fitted to his astra 220bhp for normal driving, then sports mode gives it 280 i duno what or where Rob got his one way valve from.

if you wana see what ur bus will be putting out:- R/R in the eastern region!
