Recommended cheap place for tyres
I've been shopping around for prices for a while now and almost settled on buying the rubber from mytyres.co.uk and having them fitted elsewhere as that was beginning to work out the cheapest....BUT! I came across this website: www.tyres4uuk.com
Its a new company, so much so the shop/garage isn't even open yet, but they guarantee to beat anyone else’s quote,,, and I really did put that to the test.
Example: best prices on Toyo Proxes T1-R 205 40 R17
Cheapest I could find fitted were Topgear at £85.68
MyTyres would deliver a set for £69.80, but then you have the hassle of fitting them, so add another £13 (cheapest I could find) £72.80
This place, £70 fitted tyres in stock the next day.
Despite me having to use a local KwikFit to have them fitted due to them not being open yet (this was arranged by the company at not extra charge), the customer service was excellent. I received a number of phone calls from a chap called Jef who arranged everything around me and ensured everything went smoothly.
The company also have a mobile fitting van which can be called out anywhere within a 40 mile radius of their premises.
Despite the shoddy website, they offered a great service and superb value for money. Thoroughly recommended.

Wow they are cheap! They don't sell Goodyear F1's though, which is actually what I ended up purchasing.
