would anyone object to a joint meeting with another club?

been speaking to the se co-ord from the VxlSCC, but got some negative feed back from their regoin saying that there had been some 'turd throwing' about their club. long and the short of it is that i'd still be willing to try an get it off the ground.. and i'm wondering if u felt the same.

while we are all entitled to our opinion's a simple yes or no will do.

Re: would anyone object to a joint meeting with another club?

I wouldn't mind. Indeed I know a fare few people in the SE VxlSCC so would be quite at home. They've got some great cars and a font of knowledge too.

However....... IMO (but NOT from me) both club members are 'territorial' about their club (which is just daft).

You asking Gav cos they meet at the Grasshopper too?
    Second sunday isn't it?

I'd be up for going anyhow - but then I'm joining them soon so would do anyway (as well as staying a Mig memeber).

I'm a VxlSCC member as well as a MIG member but meets aren't on the top of my list at the moment I'm afraid.

Re: would anyone object to a joint meeting with another club?

that is very encouraging, and thank you all for the comments so far. i believe they do meet at the grasshopper i think there was a problem with a meet in the sw between the sw mig and vxlscc, the car park was full so the mig lot reverted to the original meeting place there shouldnt be that problem at the grasshopper... unless we do a day that has the skyline club, the mr2 club, the porche club, the peugot lot and us as well.....could cause a shortage of places

ok noticed there are 2 persons that object. if they can pm me their concerns and i will see what i can do to help put any fears to rest... unless these persons of course are nothing to do with the se... in which case u wont count!
