    The November meeting that was

It seemed like a succsseful turnout to me. Even though I got there mega-late the MIG astra repair centre was in full swing

Hope JohnA got a feel for what the MR2 is, I think he liked it overall.

Did Matt get home ok folloing the Cav of love??

Good to meet some new faces, I'll try to make it in a bit better time for the next meet

Here's the car I saw on the way down: http://www.valvers.com/m25fireball.mov (~3Mb)

Cool, nice one dude. Jay, nice to kind of meet you mate, I was the guy with the red GTE (not Gordon).
Spent a long time with Jamie and John trying to work out what Jamies problem is with the GTO - it'll take forever lmao

Glad you got back Matt, The Black and White Panda Astra lives on

I redone all the cable this morning and all was fine, driving to my bruv's work and it stuck open again . I managed to limp to his work and I think he's doing it again for me now.

On another note: I took two springs of the tb's and the throttle is/was as light as a feather now lmao

i nearly crashed the cavalier of love

i was actually following matt, and as such i was trying my best to keep behind him all the way (why change now?). at one roundabout we were going straight across, there was a car coming from the right. matt carried on straight over, and i slid to a halt about 6 foot over the give way line, to be greeted by mrs glary middle class from surbiton in her mk4 astra.

i gave an apologetic salute, and she just continued to glare like a 14 year old whos just bumped into duncan from blue at her local sainsburys. that annoyed me more than actually being in the wrong and admitting it.

Apart from the dodgy local kids it seems an ok place to meet. Maybe one of the other pubs away from that housing estate would be better though! lmao

    Agreed

    Nice boozer.

Anyone fancy giving me a clue who was who, I already knew Gavin (Zaf GSi) and JayP (Cav GLS), I kind of worked out who Brian was (MR2 gave it away), Davo in the Astra GTE coz I spoke to him about getting some 15s for track days, Cemesis in the GTE with a LET and 0ddball coz the Mk 2 Cavvy 1.6.

Who was everyone else, remind me so I don't go "Hello errrrr .... you!" next time

I remember speaking to another bloke with a red GTE 16v, think it was Gord3001, also, who were the people playing with the TB's on the other Astra, and how long did it take you?
