Meets will be held on the first week of the month...

    except November lmao

So November's meet will be the 9th and Decembers will be the 7th. I hope everyone is OK with that.

I won't try and make any excuses for the November meet being on the 9th and not the 2nd - The reason is that I can't possibly do the 2nd. Throw things at me if you want , if you all really want the 2nd of November thats fine but I'm afraid I won't be able to be there.

Hope everyone is cool with that

I will add meet dates to the calender for next year soon, so that should make it alot easier to see whats going on.

Location is a bit up in the air right now. Suggestions are very welcome. I will be searching through the map in a second.

The Ford Guys use a pub on the A12 (towards Southend) called the Halfway House.

    They seem very accomodating...

Are you looking at Essex or Kent meet?

Not Essex, its not in the region.

I'd like it to be fairly central and Kent it right over one side.

So am I supposed to be in the Eastern region...

I've always considered Laskeside to be in the South East of England...

At least that's what all the weather reporters call it when they point there on their maps...

But then again, when do weather reporters ever get anything right???

Yeah like the last meet at the Grasshopper. There were only a few of us. We were put to shame by the Saxo and VW boys. Although I think everyone was put to shame by the runaway Seat driver.

I think we really need to get the S.E. contingency bulging, loads of meets, loads of people, loads of fun. It all seems a bit flaky at the moment. I think that organising the meets for a particular week of each month is a step in the right direction so lets all try and make the most of it and see if we can make it work.

yes I know I said I was going to the last meet and then pulled out at the last moment, practise what you ...... eh?

If there are regional boundaries that helps. Then either by sticking a pin in the middle of that region, or more likely looking at the main roads find somewhere approx. equi-distant from the 4 corners!!

yeah but the grasshopper isnt so far so it lessens the dissapointment of noone going.
Plus it was made Essex for all the Essex people moaning the meets were so far and then they didnt turn up even though some of them said they were going.

To be honest I think that you'll never get a place that everyone is happy about. Some people are just going to have to travel further than others.

Having a set meeting location is important, maybe we could try the Grasshopper again, its been ages since the wall incident.

Takes me about 30 odd mins to get to the Grasshopper, Lakeside is about the same. Although meeting on a Sunday afternoon at Lakeside means you have to brave the bridge at about 5pm onwards if you're hardcore , but then again leaving the Grasshopper at the same means you have to do the same with the M25.
