| NEWBIE! (ish) hey guys (an girls) iv been on here couple of weeks now asking lots of stupid questions! lol, now i know theres meets 3rd sun of each month, hopefully il make next one, but does anyone get together more regularly than that? im a complete amatuer at moddin and need all the help/advice i can get, an if anyone fancys a hand workin on their motor im willing, need to learn as much as poss! anyways, thread is up in projects, not much done yet but by all means take a look and voice your opinions/ideas.

| Re: NEWBIE! (ish) well i was going to try an do an apprenticeship in motor mechanics, but cant pay the bills on the piss poor wages so its on hold!  i love working on cars, just need more knowledge so i can tackle bigger jobs! besides, why pay someone to do what i could do myself!lol

hopefully ill get something soon and if its still sat there when payday comes id be more than happy to take her off your hands....!  |

| Re: NEWBIE! (ish) hi, first off buy a haynes manual, second buy a half decent toolkit, third give it a go, sensible mods are normally as easy as a routine repair.
eg to fit a high lift a cam is 2 more bolts than a headgasket change.

| Re: NEWBIE! (ish) it takes half hour coz my alloys arent balanced and the wheel wobble is mental at 60mph, plus my non turbo diesel is soooo slow. must get the corsa finished, gonna work on it again tonight.
anyone up for a rolling road shoot out??? there are a few round here, split the men from the boys, and women from the girls of course. |

might be worth inviteing total vauxhall mag, im hoping to just get on the under 1800 chart, just. |
