Keep an eye on the thread in the week leading up to the event, we'll arrange a few convoy start points as we could do with being there fairly sharp to make sure we claim an area big enough for everybody to park up. Probably the same area as last year, bottom of the grass near the strip makes sense.

yes thats true mate, i am on the case any way to be honest but i hate being at crail and not going down the strip in a car of my own, the vxr isnt any use what so ever especialy being standard and on 19's so would love to take the gsi to abuse it but would be a long shot and like you said wouldnt be a big deal as the gsi is a c20let build any way, the xe is just being used for mot and it being able to move, however i might run it for a while until i get a let in it but will just need to see how things pan out?

Looks like I will have to wait a little longer before attending an event. Asked the wife last night if she wanted to come with me to this and she said bluntly "No!! Because your coming with me "..........I forgot about a wedding we are going to on the 15th. Oooops!

This is shaping up to be a grand turn out folks. Come the start of the month, I''ll have a word with Gary and we'll get details up of where we're meeting or failing that, what time we need you at Crail. Unfortunately it's first come, first served for an area on the grass so we'll either all need to be there sharp or at least have a good number and claim an area then just shuffle about if more people arrive.

Another thing to bear in mind, Crail are a bit funny about people going on and off the grass during the day... once you're on, you stay ona nd if you go off (ie for the strip) then you don't get back on. Bit of a ballache especiaally as a couple of years back we had the Lotus Carlton up and went off to do tracking shots on one of the runways and were then told we couldn't put it back on the Total Vauxhall stand.
