    Regional Co-ordinators Wanted.

At the mo i'm looking for one or two Rcs to work with Gary in the region, as sadly Melv is gonna be stopping the role.

I'd like some one in the North, South and middle really as the region is so large, but that isn't 100%needed...

    So can you?

You'll need to be a member,
You'll need to be online lots,(at least once a week)
You'll need to be interested in setting up meets and other events,
We'll want to you come to as many shows as poss.

Main thing is really a steady monthly meet up and running aswell as other events.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.

    Bumping this up.

I am stepping down from the co-ord role as I have little to no time to arrange things due to work and the impending arrival of a wee ginger Melv.

Given the geography and the hotspots of activity in Scotland, I'd say the areas will overlap massively.

For example, Gary is sort of north west (Oban) and Melv was north east (Aberdeen) so what's needed is somebody (or even two people) to cover the central belt as that's where the majority of the action is but obviously Gary and Melv (or Melvs replacement) can move down to cover each side of the central belt when needed as it's just so big. Ie Gary would help cover Galsgow and Melv (or Melv's replacement) would help cover Perth, Dundee, Edinburgh.

Though to be fair, I think it's fair to say that that every active Scottish Miggers steps up and gets involved where needed so don't take the above as the law. After all, Scotland is one massive region and whilst allocating areas for each organiser to cover, at the end of the day everybody just mucks in and gets the job done though I appreciate what's being said. In fact, not sure what I even wrote all this as it's basically a case of don't fix what ain't broke but yes, a couple of extra guys are needed to lead things forward in Scotland.

Monthly meet wise, think it's fair so say none of the 'areas' have ever been the type for sitting in a pub once a month talking about the weather. There's always something going on, be it a random drive, an event, rolling road day or watching Lugy trying his chat up lines on Polish barmaids in Edinburgh. Plus, the core guys in the region... safe to say we're all mates anyway so it'd be more a case of encouraging the less active and the newer chaps to get involved and expand the community as it were. If tasers and cattle prods are needed, we've enough Glasgow and Highland based guys to make that happen.

Or am I talking pish again...

Midwife: He's lovely, do you have a name yet?
    Melv: Aye, wee ginger Melv

And so wee ginger Melv shall be forever known as wee ginger Melv, even if it grows to be a 6ft girl with black hair.

    Bonzar!
