Basically, once a date and names going are finalised, we can add a few meeting points along the way, everyone joins where it suits them, and they drive the section they want (or the whole thing depending where you stay) and stop for lunch/banter.
Everyone will agree that mig scotland is a very friendly bunch and theres never a dull moment.
The A86 north of spean bridge past loch laggan has some fantastic bits of road, and is always quiet, you wont be dissappointed !!
(also i there will no doubt be a few others from the east doing the same )

You know me, usually up for the craic but the 29th is nae use as I'll be thumping up the M6 in the new weapon. The 5th is doable assuming said new weapon doesn't **** it's load by then! Plus, that's a fair hike too... I'm gonnie be skint (I refer thee back to aforementioned weapon... again) but what the ****, nae point being the richest man in the graveyard eh?

    Sorted.

Just thinking out loud here, but what about doing a more central "loop" as it were as it seems most people are central based at the moment?

Maybe meet at Crainlarich and do a loop round there? Just thinking about the logistics/distances involved and the lack of daylight at this time of year... so we''ll need to be on an early start or be running through the darkness.

Also trying to think where does the best steak pie... Lugy, that's your area of expertise!

Actually, thinking out loud even more... if some guys from Aberdeen are coming, how about meeting in Perth, winding our way round there for a few hours and then the North East boys can peel off, we can carry on round towards the west where you Oban can peel off and the southern bufties will head south?

Again, just trying to think where would be a sort of middle ground meeting point for all of us?

Someone say pie? I don't think I've sampled any West coast pie actually .

Any "night out before hand to get us all in the same place" gen? Just none of this £1/drink motorboating madness!

Ahh well, always £1 where we found ourselves the last time so that's potentially dangerous. By all means, bring a sleeping bag and we'll leave from Fifeshire in the morning... well... afternoon. Would make sense I suppose, depends on who/where/why/how. Quick blast up the M90 to Perth and rendevouz with whoever else is coming along. Though that will depend on who's coming from the east and west. If nobody is coming from the north east then nae point meeting somewhere central... it'd make sense to meet towards the west. If that makes sense. Then again, could be talking bollocks as usual.

    As you were...
