I'm in though may have to sort the ABS and change my tyres before then as several tons of Swedish pig iron going sideways at speed is fooking scary!

    Re: MigWeb Scottish Winter Run

Had a wee run on Sunday. Dunfermline, up over Knockhill then up through Dunning Glen and onto Perth. From there, A9 to Pitlochry then along the side of Loch Tummel, past Schiehallion then down through the Sma' Glen and into Crief, down through Gleneagles and back over Knockhill and home.

155 miles and a little over 4hrs, including a Maccy D's stop and an inpromptu sledging session.

Awesome roads, even in 2 tons of Sweden's finest in sub zero conditions.

    Re: MigWeb Scottish Winter Run

    Ha ha! Awesome!

But nope, still running the Hankooks I bought last month. Being fair, they're not actually that bad but I think I made a mistake in not buying a set of all season tyres instead. Granted, full blown winter tyres are probably overkill givent he moderate climate and lack of snow plus the fact they stop working at anything above 7degs... but my summer Hanks are probably less than ideal!

Just makes it a little more interesting!

Anyways, we're waffling again... so any further forward with a date?
