Sunday 9th October: DSG @ Kames Circuit, Muirkirk - Time for a Sunday drive...?

Just a wee heads up guys...

The Droop Snoot boys are having a wee show/track event at Kames this weekend and are inviting a few other clubs such as the Manta boys and so on. Unsure who busy it'll be or who's all going but I'm heading along to cover it for the mag however also thought it'd be a good excuse for another random Sunday drive?

Ie... a wee blast down to Kames, few hours wandering around looking at the retro stuff then back in the cars and do a wee loop through the Leadhills or something like that, grab a bit food then head for home?

The event runs from 09:30 to 4:00 and as far as I know, it's free to get in?

    Show of hands... if any!

    Cheers!

Late report.... nice day out, some fantastic looking old steel....
    ..

Good to see Lugy, Micky and Dave...and others I've met but cannae remember names ! (dude with mk1 astra ! )

Micky I'm totally jealous of you and stuart with your track toys .... great way to have fun
    I need a track toy !

Kaimes (kames??) is a very relaxed, yet properly run wee circuit..all it needs in my opinion is a transponder to chuck on cars to give you an idea what times are run...

Major downside was me deciding to go back via edinburgh, stuck for 1:30mins at bridge..fecking roadworks!!!
    Cheers All

It was a pretty good day, even if the weather was pish, all added a bit motivation to "Projekt Bay Em Vay" though .

And cheers to Micky for the passenger runs, even if we had to push Stuarts car... again lmao.
