    hey guys long time no see

    need helpanyone in edinburgh with a diagnostic machine was going to attepmt it mysel but hey am crap wi tht sort of thing lol before i bought the car was told prev owner had it checked and it was an airflow sensor the only one i can find is the air teprature sensor in the engine bay i have a 2002 astra g engine z14xe if anyone can upload a pic and help would be greatly appreciated xx

    Do the "Pedal Test" (Google!) and see what code the car has stored... and the air flow meter is the first thing after the airbox with a wiring plug stuck in it.

    P400 relates to the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve so it's probably either cholked up with carbon or it's simply not working.

    You can remove them and clean them, it might work for a bit unless as said... it's actually buggered in which case you'll need to replace it.

    U Pull It in Inverkeithing have numerous 1.4 16v Astras in so if you need to go and get replacement sensors/parts, that's a good place to start unless of course you have the expendable cash to buy new bits from a dealer or the likes of Autovaux.

    I think it could be at the back of the engine, no doubt hidden beneath something lmao.
