All quiet on the Northern front... game for a random run/meet somewhere?

    Aye aye...

Sat here in my Super Ted PJ's a bit bored and trying to remember the last time we had a random drive somewhere just for the sake of having a random drive somewhere. Sp, on that basis... I think we should do another?

I suggest heading north so if your Western and North Eastern boyos fancy cutting across we could meet somewhere for a pie and a pint... maybe even some waffles. On that basis and having consulted my big roadmap, I reckon somewhere like Aberfeldy/Pitlochry/Aviemore.

Just an idea, but I'm getting cabin fever here so need to do something! All in favour say aye and fling some dates/places into the mix. All those not in favour... don't.

    Cheers!

Aye, any weekend be it Saturday or Sunday.

Could even do a two day drive? Drive somewhere on the Saturday camp somewhere have a few drinks, share car stories and dance like its 1999 with all cars tuned into radio 1 or someone put scooter on. Then Sunday drive somewhere grab breakfast the take a wee drive somewhere take in the view then head home.

    Plan?

Lugy is on the case with a two/three day mission into uncharted territory... so I was more thinking along the lines of a random day trip somewhere, bit lunch then high tail it back down the road again.

Dude if you'r dancing like you did in 1999 I'm guessing it will be the 'hokey-cokey', pass the parcel or musical chairs.

Anyway aye random drive sounds good, just unfortunate my limited weekends off get in the way. Saying that, no reason why we couldnt go for a blast, still light enough at nights to get a good run.
Couldn't think of anything good to put in here.

One,two, three or even just a night drive for banter you can count me in. I'm sure Jav,Mr Lucas and several other people will be out aiming cameras everywhere so plenty pictures for the scrap book.

If at the age of 12 you were still doing the 'hokey-cokey' Mr Dempsey I'm worried what your latest dance moves will consist of! lmao

As long as you both remember to keep looking in your mirrors for the little silver Corsa behind trying to catch up.

Ahh yes, until you've seen "Mr Shakey shakey dance man" lead a group of bewildered illegal imigrants in the art of hardcore trance moves... you've never lived.

Re: All quiet on the Northern front... game for a random run/meet somewhere?

    Righty...

Been having a wee think and it seems we'll never get a date that suits everybody in terms of a weekend, so I think we should take Dov's idea of a random evening blast and run with it. It's light until late o'clock so plenty oppertunity to rack up a few miles plus the roads will be free from the Sunday driving gang.

    So, I propose...

    Date:
    Friday 5th August

    Time:
17:00hrs - or there abouts, depending if people finish work earlier/later.

    Place:
McDonalds at South Queensferry, near the BP station.

    The plan:
There isn't one as such but I figured we could meet up at the Bridge (or if anybody has a better suggestion?) and then head somewhere... be it over towards Callendar and up the Dukes Pass, or down towards the Borders or indeed a coastal blast round Fife. Stop off en route for a chippie somewhere then head back down again. Nothing to adventurous, few hours and a hundred miles or so.

So, if you game... let's start a list (woohoo!) and pop down when you're able to meet and where you want to go and we'll take it from there.

    Sorted
