Lucas and John's Crap Car Challenge '11

Next weekend will see the inaugaral CCC (Crap Car Challenge). We'll be "competing" in the Golf.
At the moment we're the only entrants and a challenge hasn't been thought of yet. The car hasn't been prepped either lmao.

We need ideas for a challenge around the Scottish Borders/North East England next Saturday afternoon til the early hours of Sunday. My first idea was to do an A-Z of place names and get a picture of each sign. Finding 26 places including one that began with a Z or X could be a bit more than a challenge. A sort of treasure hunt would be good.
I've got a few roads/greenlanes/fords I want to attempt, but nothing to link them .

Finally, does anyone else have a **** car they want to take part in? As a bonus, using a hire car gives you 100 points extra. I'm not sure if that's good or not though....

I'd be game and I'm sure Dempsey and Coo would be available for "driving/navigating/finding skanks in Clios on the M6" duties again. Only issue being the time scale and the fact we don't have a crap car to use... although we could relieve Coo of his van keys.

    lmao

Plenty time to get to work, who needs sleep!

I've had a quick look at the Nothumberland section, nothing to technical, just some random (and some not so random) places involving some fords and some mild greenlanes (that can be missed out). John's navigational skillz will need to be mega sharp lmao.

Johns navigational 'skillz' are always mega sharp. remember or rally stage... and then compare it to you in northumberland navigating 2 years ago... twice lost and had to do 3 point turns on tiny c roads with a range rover v8, disco and a 90... was funny though. least the terrano had a gid steering lock pmsl...... Oh and i will expect LOTS of use of the handbrake mr lucas........ And you will get rally navigation styleeee

Probably not, that said, I'm not raising the front of the Golf. In my mind it's easier to fit a sump guard lmao

What I'm thinking is, head down to Northumberland around lunch time/early afternoon, do the things I've planned and get to the places I chose, then wind our way back up through the Borders , finishing up in the wee hours of Sunday.
