Hello, i'm new to the forum and would like to say hi to all,
i dont know if you guys can help?
i'm on the look out for a corsa b 1.4 3dr i have £600 - £700 to spend, im off out tonight to have a wee gander at one is there any thing i should look out
for other than mayo cap from condensation/blown header and rusty bits or if you know of anyone who maby selling there corsa, that would be a bonus,
i've been looking ebay, most of the vauxhall forums, pistonhead and gumtree,

Welcome along mate. Corsa's aint too bad really. just check for signs of hgf, bonnet rust is common, and no doubt will have the small bit of rust on the quarter where the window line is. Also rust round the rear wiper may be an issue.
Quite reliable if looked after. Is it an Sri you are after?

well i went and it wasnt as good as i hoped blow head and rust in all the wrong places

it was a no go for me, me and the misses has been looking and ill probs go for a astra coupe bit out of my budget and a bit of a swerve from the corsa's, i've seen a nice 2.2 heres hoping its nice in the flesh

Being honest, the prices of corsa c's have fallen spectacularly. You can pick up the comfort (all be it that the 1.0 is gutless) for around a grand now as new as 02 plate.
I would have thought that you can basically take your pick of corsa b's for £700. Seen Astra coupes' go for around £1500 with very average mileage on them. With the corsa C and astra coupe it is a lot easier to drop a zlet in at a later date if you so wished.
