im having a bit of a melt down!

i want to take my gsi but dont think i can shell out for a let and bits needed to get it sorted on time, so i am left with a choice build the xe i have and use that or maybe use a v6 as there pretty cheap

so...

1 do i rebuild the xe i have sat in the shed??

2 sell my pug gti to fund another let

3 or just settle with taking the vxr (dont really want to take it!) and leave the gsi untill next year

if i build the xe i need an early 20xe loom so if any 1 has 1 let me no

Aye lmao. The carb was covered by the whole filter.

No hydrostatic either, 6 gears to tame the extra power. Well before the rev limit was taken off, blew the con-rod into six bits at 3k on teh dynoz init.

Mk4 gsi project has went OTT and wont be done till pvs12 so ive bought a c20let mk3 for this. If its on stand has it to stay there or can i go up strip?

Nae idea Daz. I've no problem with you going up and down the strip after being on the stand. It's usually the Crail "officials" that take issue with being on the grass then going up the strip, depending the weather though.

Crail were a bit arsey last year, they stopped people going on and off the grass... ie, once you were on that was it and so if you went off it, you couldn't get back on. In fact, we took the Lotus Carlton off to go and take some images and the nice man wouldn't let us put it back on the stand again until much protesting had been done. I can understand why... but still. On that basis, I'd say they'll be doing the same again this year.

This year, Total Vauxhall have no involvement in ANY of the organisation, we're merely there to report on the day.
