    Re: Autosport show

Well we'll start with the money, fuel and entry came to £100 each (obviously fuel can't be helped), when we got inside the show we expected loads of new things and shiny stuff to look at as you would at the "main" motorsport event of the year, in reality it was just a trade show. Fair enough Lotus, Porsche, BMW and Skoda brought their new cars along, as for racing cars though it was very poor. The Group B display was exactly the same as last year, right down to the location! The PH part of the show was even poorer, last year there was loads of super/performance cars, this year there were very few. The live action part was the same as last year and every trade stand seemed to have the same stuff as last year, IE all the engines/products looked to be the same. My main aim was to take as much photos as possible to use as inspiration for the E30, I got 3 photos.

Compared to the first year we went it was very poor, back then (2007) Aston Martin had all their new racing cars, all the BTCC teams brought their new cars (or mock ups), the live action was cracking and there was a lot of new machinery to look at.

I'll probably go back next year but only on the engineering days and with a different motive!

Not going this year - went 10 years in a row and realised the 10th time around that it never really changes. Have fun though.
Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called rush hour?
