The Big Scottish Christmas Meet - Thursday 30th December

    Righty...

Thinking ahead here but if you're like me, you'd rather take a heady off the Forth Bridge than suffer the festive period and all it's associated bollocks. By the third day I'm usually to be found in the corner, rocking slowly and licking the walls whilst chanting softly... so, to help ward this off, I propose another Migweb day out.

I would propose we stick to the tried and tested methods... so basically driving, eating potato waffles followed by several bottles of lager whos name we can pronnounce. So, step forward those who'd be interested in a little random drive (north or south) at some stage over the festive period, perhaps followed by some food and some beers?

Not really sure chief, that's the only downside to Christmas/New Year falling on a Friday/Saturday this year. Sunday drives could be a challenge if people are out on the beer on Christmas day/New Years day so midweek would make more sense to be honest, but again sure we can sort something depending on who's up for it.

Nothing set in stone yet, but I would propose we head down the Borders direction as (and no offence) but the feedback so far seems to be that the vast majority of people who'll come out to play are all sort of Central belt area. So, I woudl say for the time being... pencil in a run down Edinburgh > Duns > Moffat > Keilder direction.

Hopefully it's be as snowy as last year... eh Coo?!

    lmao

I might even have something fun to play with , and if it's snowy I might just have to invest in a set of Colway rally tyres lmao

Just checked one's Filofax (blackberry... pffft, bolt ye rocket!) and the 29th or the 30th looks good to me.

Shall we go with either of those days then?

Righty, to try and make sure this actually happens... let's get a wee show of hands and see which of the two days suits the most people:

    Ooooh, a list... it's exciting!

    WEDNESDAY 29th DECEMBER
    1. Dave - either day suits, and I'd prefer to head down the Borders this time

    THURSDAY 30th DECEMBER
    1. Dave - either day suits, and I'd prefer to head down the Borders this time

I'm actually leaning towards the 29th from my point of view, but either suits... will go with the majority!
