my mate had a cat back made for his cavalier sri 130 by RMS, 3 times in 2 months it blew the baffles out of the backbox, when he took it back the the third time the peado guy that works there wanted more money off him to fix it. Thats service for you

Was RMS not ok back in the day ? Or has it always been guff ?

RMS had a good reputation over 10 years ago. My mate used them and his exhaust was top quality. I used them in 2001 for an exhaust for my Corsa and I had nothing but trouble with it.

RMS are not great my mates had bother with his, they say its SS but its rusting at bits, Meercat have gotten lazy, not what they used to be, Funky Power did not do a good job whatsoever on my coupe, trust me for quality its GI motorsport, Also fair priced!

SOS MOTORSPORT in falkirk are really good for s/s exhausts. for a cat back 2" exhaust looking about £300 fitted and 2.5" exhaust is £350 fitted. They use a pipe bender to make the exhausts so it looks factory made.

I found their welds a bit of an issue with a previous car. (corsa b) kept blowing, happened about 3 times and i got fed up. To be fair the backbox was aftermarket and HUGE, and had them fit a system to it.
