Total Vauxhall Dyno Feature
Can I just respectfully remind you chaps that for the purposes of a dyno feature, there are usually 12 cars featured so there will be some cars that will not appear in print. However, there will be oppertunities for group shots and so on so do the hair, check the makeup and get the car cleaned.
Random Drive #859
I'm not running but I'm quite keen to go and waste some fuel afterwards too however the more cars that run, the later the day will need and thus the less time we'll have to go for food/a run and so on that basis I'd recommend we keep it fairly short and localised bearing in mind people still need to drive home again!
I'd recommend a run for a couple of hours around the Fife/Tayside... up over Knockhill, towards Dunning, Gleneagles and onto Crieff then the Sma Glen is excellent without being too excessive and means once wer're done it's still fairly near for those of us from Fife/Glasgow and easy for the northern boys to access the A9 or A90 northbound again from Perth. Again, it all boils down to when we actually wrap things up at Dastek.
Breakfast/Lunch
In terms of eating, there's not a huge deal around Dastek/Dalgety Bay however there is a McDonalds at Junction 3 of the M90 for those early morning hangover cures. Further more, for lunch whilst at Dastek there is an Asda nearby however in the past we've taken orders and done a run to the local butty shop for bacon rolls and stuff. This is something you could consider on the day... take a lunch order at 11:30 with a view to scoffing at noon. On a similar note, tehre are several chippie's locally (Inverkeithing)
Your conduct
Dastek will waste no time in telling to fook off if you're driving like an arse in the area around their premises and from a Total Vauxhall point of view, we completely agree. So please don't drive like a knob, wheel spinning out their yard or racing up the industrial estate should be saved for those you who haven't reached puberty yet. On a similar note, if you decide to come along on the random drive then please take note that a convoy of loud Vauxhall WILL attract attention even if you're driving like a saint so do not think this is a race, yes it'll be "enthusiastic" but stupid overtakes or illegal speeds won't be tollerated. If you want to impress the group, do it with some good driving skills and a courteous road manner... not by ploughing into Mr and Mrs Smith in their Renault Scenic.
Thankyou please...
