Re: Your motor & mods as it stands

Thanks man :-) i know. especially of that age. but I've always wanted a standard gsi.. just couldn't afford one..
but. i have kept everything off it including the standard radio ;-) bought it from an old guy thats owned it for 12 years and was giving up driving.. couple wee trolley dents and the rear arches were starting to bubble. not bad though as it was washed after every trip out and stored in a garage... i won't annoy everyone by saying i got it with full years mot for a mere 500 :-P
    hehe

as for nova. Ian in at Agra set it up for me. was gona use mike Stewart but was gona be alot of hassle.. those that know mike might know what i mean.. exceptional engineer but doesn't like working on cars other people have started if u know wat i mean..
Only difference between nova engine and old touring car is the crank and slipper pistons and itbs..
Ian reckons i would get 250 with 48's and twin fuel pumps..
    237hp N/A Nova ;-)
Canny beat the songs of carbs

Here's the new brief , just a temp stopgap till i go corsa gsi huntin' . Got it local , mega cheap , runs like new. only 67k and a free set of new winter tyres to sell bonus! .

Was beyond filthy though. Wifey i got it off had a dog which had taken chunks out the seats and some of the trim. Nice!!, but a new SRI interior has sorted it out.

Sold the standard wheels , and awaiting spacers arriving for my speedlines, so fitted these fanblades i got off a boy that stays across the road. , what will Uncle Melv say to these?? lol

Dayglo yellow FTW... does it match yer jaiket?

    Anyways...

On the car front, the genius idea that was the Vectra GSi lasted all of 3 weeks and was promptly off-loaded. Helga (the worlds BEST car) continued daily service then last week there was a bit of a 90's theme going on. A bag full of dance CD were found as were a pair of Air Max Classic and also a black Addidas trackie top with more hot rock burns than your average Nova front seat. To mark such the occassion, those money grabbing tosspots in London were handed £118.25 of my hard earned/forged money...

    Pure gadge spec FTW!
