My New Corsa GSI (pic heavy)

Lng story short, been looking for a car for a while. The Red Gsi in the back of this month Total Vauxhall was why I sold my old car. Two days before going down to pvs when I was going to pick it up got a call telling me it was sold. So I found my new car on pistonheads on Monday night called garage Tuesday morning and took a road trip to Manchester with my good mate Jav! Returned with this

47,000 on the clock when I got it home. Only a devil back box and a K&N filter on the car which will be coming off as soon as i can find standard parts. If anyone knows where I can pick up a cheap air box please pm me lmao Hvae plans to change it with time and also cash but for now the plan is to go standard!

Cheers! Would be good but there's a few things I need to sort out with car. Standard back box and air box forr a start. Question for you tho, see your bumpers and sills? They textured or smooth?

they are textured mate, thats how they came from the factory.

Mine has had the drivers side quarter painted. Rear arch is smooth. That's one of the things on my long list of what I want to do.

Nah keep it as standard as possible.Itl hold its money if you do.

P.S,that red Gsi that was in TV classifieds wasnt as clean as it was made out to be.Guy on CS bought it and has had to paint a few bits and bobs as they were different colours etc.Dosnt look pretty.

I'm good cheers Nik just looking for work at the moment. How you been?

Glad you said keep it standard lmao orderd full service kit and air box along with rear silencer. Just need to wait a few days on air box but will have it ready for the trip down to Castle Combe

Glad I did'nt get that car then if thats the case but was a very very cheap car. Looking to get mine painted once I get myself sorted with a job could do with a complete freshen up. Found out that Bryan has lost his unit in Smeaton so will have to take it somewhere else local and hope there just as good and as cheap lmao

yep she's not immaculate but seeing as i didnt pay anywhere near the £2k + mark for a 'mint' one and i think she's not half bad.

and yes annoyingly, tv didnt actually look at car despite saying they had and yes its needed a few bits and bobs doing but its far better than when i picked it up

That's a nice example there, i believe this one also has the uber rare 60/40 split seat option. swapsies?! lmao

Cheers Madman. I was on pistonheads on the Tuesday night phoned the garage Wednesday morning and went down with my mate well worth the road trip to manchester. I still have photos from advert and I think its still on pistonheads.

Garage I got it from had looked after the car for a good few years after it had its services from Vauxhall.

Cheers Daz! Its definitely going to Fife meet, hope that everyone who has put the their name down can still go. There should be plenty good Vauxhalls at it by looks of list.

Cheers Nahser! Yeah I maybe did pay more than what I wanted to but how do you put a price on cars like that with very good milage? I was shocked to see on Pistonheads the Corsa Gsi that was to be featured in this months mag with his mate who has Corsa Sport both very very low mileage is on Pistonheads for £5000! Very very clean car with fair amount of cash spent, 21,000 on clock re-spray and good choice of modifications but £5000? I would'nt pay that much for a Corsa as much as I love mine but I'm sure someone will lmao

I had Mark the previous owner of your car down to £1300 but most now know the story with that. Apart from the little bit of paint work that you have had to carry out I take it the car is running smooth? Any major plans for it?

Yeah it has the 60/40 which is very handy for carrying a whole load of things including a mattress lmao It has everything on it air bag, electric windows, electric mirrors, sunroof, 60/40 split and factory cd player ( jumps even if you look at it the wrong way! )

wasnt having a dig at what you paid for yours, its a really nice one, totally agree that one for 5k is just never going to shift at that price, and i do wonder how such a low mileage example would need a respray?!!

Mechanically mine is actually sound, all the tidying up has been minor really. Typical of a car owned for a long time by a non enthusiast, seen it so many times before where they're low mileage but aesthetically crying out for some love. I'm leaving it totally standard and just enjoying it for what it is. yep its never going to be concours but it's in pretty good nick everything considered

Aye £5000 is a big asking price for it. Tbh my car could do with a full respray although its only dont 47,000 is still a 15 year old car and car seen better days like they all have lmao Not to the stage that it has to get done soon but a freshen up would'nt go a miss.

Snap on leaving the car standard ( well once I get it back to standard in next couple of weeks) mines wont ever be concours but a damm good example of one as I'm sure yours and K2 YNE's one are.

If you don't mind me asking from where about you from?
