Cheers Gary, looking forward to getting to know everyone on the site. Your Nova is one of the best around! Seen the Feature in Totall Vauxhall and up at Crail sure i have one or two pictures of your car. Will post them up soon along with all my other pictures from Crail.

Yeah the teg can shift when they want to but just wasn't for me. Cant wait to get back to having a Vauxhall. Hope you don't mind if I see you at PVS having a bit banter? Will have to try clean my new car as best I can on the trip from Southampton to Santa Pod.

    Cheers Guys!

Got really bad new about the car that I was going to buy thats in the back of this months Total Vauxhall. Going to keep it as short as possible coz I'm so angry I could rant all night.

Got told about car by Turbodave (Vauxhall Legend and staff writter Dave Reid) that car was in mag on Friday night around 12am. Called Mark (owner of car) on Saturday afternoon around 12pm and had agred after a long phone call that I would travel down by plane on Friday the 11th with £1300 for car and that it would be mot'd. After many calls back and forth with the owner seeming to be a genuine guy I have since been told that car is now sold to someone else, this only two days before I was due to fly down! ( flight costing me £85 and having paid for it on tuesday) To make things even better I told him that I would sell my current car the Almera which I have as was under the understanding that the car was mine after being told that "my word is my bond" and now have no car and down £85. After talking Karen on the phone who told me that someone else has offerd £1500 for the car without mot, I said that I could offer £1400 without mot. After a few calls back and forth from myself to Karen as Mark was unable to answer his phone or talk to me after we had only spoken about 1hour before talking to Karen the car has been sold to someone else as it if more convient for them to sell car to other person.

There is alot more to this going back and forth and would be here all night ranting but going to get me nowhere. So I will see you all at PVS and will try not to rant to much and hope that I can find myself a good car.

Yeah it really got to me, kinda wish he did stay close because I would have picked car up last Saturday and not have went to all the trouble of booking flight and changing money into English notes. Best thing is that I was at PVS at the weekend (what a weekend!) and on the sunday got out my tent went to the toilet and geuss what passed me! New owner with the car! I was close to tears lmao never seen car after that or got a chance to talk to new owner. Wish the guy all the best with it and hope that it he makes a good job of the car.

welcome to mig mate, thats crap about the car, some people need to have there nuts kicked hard, especially after you going to the trouble of booking flights etc, suppose it could have been worse, you could have made it all the way down south and turned up at the guys door only to find he F*@cked you over.

Cheers Gordan, yeah it would have been alot worse if I had got myself all the way down there and got told its gone. Would have had no way of getting to Santa Pod at all. It just wasn't ment to be mine. Have started the look for a another car already. Would have been good as K2NY-G from Kirkcaldy Fife has a really clean M reg Gsi with on 61,000 on clock and was down south also.

Aye aye sunshine, welcome along and all the usual stuff. Unbelievable with the Corsa, feel quite bad about that as I had him earmarked as a decent chap when I spoke to him ahead of the article in the mag. Car seemed like a good one, hence we ran it and hence I suggested you should give him a call. Real ****ter it ended up as it did. Just wasn't meant to be son, there's plenty out there.

Cheers Dexy, yeah your spot on he was offered a better deal and took it for the sake of £100 lmao Hasn't dampened my spirit just made me more determined to keep looking for one. Just hope it's not another Gsi that will fall of the list of how many are on the road.
