As a relatively new member of the scottish vauxhall community, I chat to Dempsey and TurboDave regularly and quite often names pop up who had this vauxhall and that vauxhall...
They mean nothing to me, and I have a memory like a goldfish....sooo

Anybody who was associated with the East Scotland region of the Sports Car Club circa 1998 - 2002 and regulary took part in sunday drives and missions south... at speed, en mass.
Cavalier Turbo Owners Club - As long as it runs I really dont care...

Iain Burt - Can't remember the story 100% but if I remember correctly he built and sold Russ the car, Russ added some tweaks and has now sold it back to Iain.

Back in the day I used to regularly read posts from 'Ritchie Cav Turbo' - I enjoyed those. Dunno if he's quite a legend but his posts had plenty of technical content.
AFAIK he sold the cav turbo and bought a Bee Emm

I remember Ritchie too thats him on the rolling road at AVA although i never met him, they used to laugh at my 8 injector cavalier turbo .....
Aye Ritchie was a good lad, bought a 740 BMW but that was back in 2001/2002 or so.
