    My mk4 Astra SXi

    I have a Vauxhall again!!

Brought my Astra home on Friday and I love it, such a nice car and a big difference from driving the Corsa lmao

Bought it through my work, it came in as a part exchange and it should have gone to auction but after sweet talking my boss (and Melv) we got it for a pretty decent price. Its a 1.6, 51 plate and its just hit 60k last night. Apart from a scratch on the tailgate, the tiniest dent on the drivers side back end and barely any stonechips, there's not a mark on it.

Haven't really got any major plans for it, i've a hefty credit card bill that needs paid first I've got a set of 17" TSW Apex alloys that will fit so they'll be going on once I get 2 new tyres on them, and then the usual filter, grille, lowered, etc...oh and some mig stickers!

    Jack said,

Surely you are only pulling it one way though? ie. you are pulling it along its length.

Not really much to be said about the Astra at the moment, crappy weather, 2 jobs and never enough time or money!
Snow day today though so had plenty time to browse ebay
Bid on an Irmscher exhaust and an Opel grille, and ordered some badges and Insignia washer jets (Shamelessly stolen from Gary's thread lmao)

Weather permitting i'll take a trip to Elgin on Saturday for mud flaps as it only has one and a half at the moment And depending on how hungover I am on Sunday I plan on fitting those and taking the badges off

Decided to fit my old cd player at the weekend, with a little help from Melv. Had it for about 4 years so its a little scabby round the edges of the buttons at either end but I much prefer it to the Pioneer one that was in it which was a bit temperamental with cds! Hopefully get the sub & amp fitted in the near future too

The mash of wiring we found behind the old cd player...

    My one fitted...

Also stole the shorter aerial off the MG and threw that on, seems to get a better signal than the standard 5ft long monstrosity too!
A wee promotion at work means a pay rise next month so with any luck it'll get lowered and I can get the 17s on, I think the plan is to fit Melv's Masitaly's while the TSW's get refurbed, I just need to make sure that Melv remembers that conversation! lmao
