had a 1.9td engine from a renault scenic in the boot of my corsa once, cheap way to lower it thats for sure lmao even though it was already lowered 90mm at the back so on the way home it was basically rubbings its arse on the floor lmao was awful to drive as you could imagine, breaking was no existant

was even more fun trying to get it out again and clearing up all the oily mess thats associated with a mucky diesel engine

Easiest way to move a C20LET & F28 lmao. Couldn't get the boom down low enough to get it in the garage so had to pendulum it past the doors lmao. Carried with some seatbelts and the clip bolted to the engine mount since a lost a hoisting hook.

Bloody hell Fenn. No need to undo the mounts with that. Just rip the engine out.

Rover V8 in the boot of my old Golf with the seats up...

Once had 2 BMW engines, a gearbox, engine crane and my tools in the Vectra. The handling was a bit odd but funnily enough, I had heavier on board that car .

I normally just throw them in the van as most get broken for spares anyway.

Then when i get it back i use a long plank of wood on an angle to slide the engine down. Onto one of these bread trollys which i can then roll them around on....... Easy, no crane required and a 1 man job at my end.

I got mine from Iceland (the shop). they were throwing out loads of them so i grabbed a few.

Also very very handy for fitting and removing engines from underneath too.

thats bloody handy that is, unfortunatly i dont have the luxury of tarmac but the wheels i have are like minature bycicle tyres with good tread/width for moving on the gravel but i just keep forgetting about them, needless to say once i have bought another let i shall not forget but have to make a trolley, all good fun tho
