    So you gonnie take the wrapper off it and drive the thing? It's all very pretty sitting there following your polishing session, but that front bumper needs some more stone chips and theres a few mill can come off the tyre walls...

    OH trust me dave its well and truely getting driven. currently down in york just now so when i get back ill be on the blower to take it for a drive.

    Ah i wont be polishing this cav for a while, im not happy with the paint on it, so it will be getting a full respray next year some time, so it will just keep getting abused till then.

    Yeah man, from my lurking it seems that the guy you sold it to (Cubie i believe) has sold it on due to work commitments. Don't know what makes it stand out so much. The wheels are a big factor, but the condition you kept it in and the colour all made the car. Getting the tubby was the right move tho! I've got myself a 1.7 Puma to get about in during the winter. So much easier to look after than the astra and (i'll probably get lynched for saying this) they are brilliant fun to drive. Handling is superb on it.

    shame the 18s aint on it now but hey ho, life goes on.

    Ive heard the pumas were pretty good cars, i think someone on vxon started a thread saying exactly the same thing.
    Im glad i have the turbo, its only my 4th one lmao ill be keeping this one for a good while, or whenever it rots lmao

    Oooft, went 530 miles yesterday and the day before, drove to skye, then over to uist on the boat, Great roads and plenty plenty rain and lying water, gave me a small boost problem, hitting 4k the eml light was popping on and killing boost, by the time i hit inverness it was cleared.
    Awesome roads, 160tastic lmao lmao

    Love for the cav turbo is back.

    Not a bad trip, Lost a mudflap and the corner of my splitter came off lmao lmao
    averaged 32mpg lmao surprisingly

    Ahhhh fuuuck just looked under the car, the whole bolt had come through the chassis. need to jack the box up and weld the mount to the chassis. good times. not.
