Getting a few more things done while i still have loadsa time off work. Rear brakes were next on the list as well as fronts, still aint got the fronts from vaux till the morrow.
Huge difference the rears have made though.
Also took my bumper off because i can lmao
Want to get the sump gasket changed but vaux in their brilliant design room, decided to put the transfer box in the way of one last 10mm sump bolt so thats going to be fun and 4 new rubber tyres too lmao

    lmao lmao

If you paint the disc it will stop it going rusty and looking sh*te. And a wobblie socket will reach the sump bolt.

Yup I agree the smallest socket you can get up between the sump and the tx box will work with a couple of wibblie bars.

One thing though remove all other sump bolts first as you will get the socket stuck once the bolt is loose but comes free once you dislodge the sump.

    Re: Dexys car thread

Ah well, new alternator in yesterday.

Also starting to get annoyed with my boring boost gauge so i got a new one online and a volt gauge and they shall be installed soon. Heres a mock up of how it looks just now, but its not the finished item, i need to put the gauges in it and sort the hazzard switch.

Just a sheet of perspex i had lying about, Need to get the hazzard switch moved or placed in better, but its looking awesome.

Another busy day, mainly wire wheeling it and painting up stuff, should be good to refit in the next day or so.

Good progress. Since you have all the free time at the minute you could take my Corsa up for a clean and polish and I will drive about in the Cav.
