calibra turbo alternator

hey guys the alternator in my corsa turbo has stopped working i got one out of a redtop and its the wrong size is there a difference in the calibra turbo alternator and the calibra????

if its same size as a v6 cavalier one i have a brand new 1 you can have cheap

think its the bracket that wrong nae sure i didnt get a look at it but its the calibra turbo engine thats in it

Calibra Turbo should be a wide belt type, available on all later 16v redtops.

does this look like the right alternator???

Thats the earlier V belt type, early 16v GTE Astras had it, and 8v Cavaliers F-J reg had it, Astra MK3 J-K reg had it, Carlton 8v's had it.

after all the problems trying to get the right alternator and getting checked by 2 garages the 3rd garage found a broke wire which when re joined the alternater started to charge the battery lol least i no have a spare lol
