runabout needed

hey all.

starting a new job in just under 2 weeks so need to get myself a reliable, comfortable car to get to and from work and training. need to get from oban to aberdeen and back every week.

got 2k to spend, ideally id have a 1.6 focus or an astra mk4 and prefer a 3 door model but obviously i dont have alot of time so will consider most things comfortable and a bit more modern.

can anyone point me in the direction of suitable cars near them?

Checked the yellow paper?? saw a 1.7 Astra Diesel for sale 1999 with over 76k on the clock, £1800 ono

Thought about it myself, but need my own car fixed

thats a good point, no ive not. checked all the websites i can think of right enough. will try and find a yellow paper in the morning.
