ECU required...Help!

I need a working ECU for the 1800 Cavalier engine also known as the C18NZ Manual. That's the single point injection engine as I really need the car and couldn't face sticking in red top right now.

I'm based in Dunfermline, Fife and tried all the usual breakers to no avail.

Anybody?!?

Re: ECU required...Help!

ECU flashed code 84, Immobiliser, No signal.

I'm assuming that's the problem. The key still has its chip and all the wiring is correct. I did some welding on the car but the battery was out so was the engine for that matter so I don't think I could have popped the module.

Anybody used these people as they do a ECU with no immobiliser in it for £195
