help needed

i have a mk4 astra 1.6 16v sxi when driveing it it keeps loseing power if i turn it of then bk on it runs fine then loses the power again with in mins

can any1 help

check the usuals mate sensors,etc,

assume our not getting a warning light on the dash so could be mechanical part failing instead on and electrical fault

the light is on the dash checked it at work and its no finding any faults on it

Hi mate,if the EML is on, a decent diagnostic set up is bound to read the code? what have you had try to read codes?
