My 2c . . .
There is RC's on the Scotland region to deal with meets ect & as far as indoor winter meets will be announced in due cource.
Also the region is ALREADY in 2 parts :
North : Rob
South : Gord & Myself
The reason we don't have it split into south east / west is the basic fact that there isn't enough members.
Also to attend meets you have to be a paid up club member (Unless it is your first time) & with only 35 members spread over Scotland we try to do things as a whole as we just don't have the numbers to split things up any more than they actually are.
For next year we will be adopting the same policy as VVOC (Having a monthly meet a different location each time all over Scotland) & im in talks with RC's of other clubs to make it a joint meet - like a miniture vaux gathering at every place we go along to
Mainly so that it is a decent gathering all year round + a chance to meet people from other clubs. Also having a bigger group of people makes it better to have a Mig Vs VVOC ROlling Road day or something like that.
We still have the Xmas meal / meet to organise + a RR day for early on next year.
It might look like nothing is happening but just give us a chance to sort things out - Its been a busy year so far already
