That would be a Nova design feature, the centre ones are for "fresh" air. I'm sure you can mod them to blow hot though, that might of been an Astra though....

Nice on e Fraz. Are you going to paint the raised lettering on the spark cover white, polish it so that it matches the rocker cover or leave it red?
Im not sure yet, I've got a smoothed down one which is polished but I was also thinking of doing it MG Trophy blue like the rest of the car. But then if I do that i'd probably have to do the strut brae too.

Well after a day out with Mr Reid looking at Vectra;s what a ****ing experience that was.
Looked at one car........sorry, attempted to look at one car , only to arrive to be told "its away to the paint shop wont be back for 4-5days", well that's fooking handy.
Then found a second one near by that was nicer on the miles but fairly over priced tbh (although Im sure it could have been haggled down), however given the price the presumption was made that it must be a pretty good one for a dealer to be stocking it for that sort of money......wrong, what a ****ing wreck, both rear archs rusting, front bumper badly painted with stress cracks in the paints, passnger side rear door with a **** of bit of rot in it, rear 1/4 badly painted and four wheels badly needing a refurb. ****ing epic.

Yeah it is Melv, fancy something to play with through the summer unfortunately finding one that is as described (seriously 'mint' (yes that ole chestnut) seems to equate to 'doesnt have enough rust to fail an MOT but dont shut the doors to hard and avoid pot holes at all costs as bit will fall off"). The other issue seems to be finding one that hasnt been modified by flumpers are us with the ever so crass day-glo blue dash.

I had an awesome day out. It was worthwhile visiting said dealers as their stock made the fooking Volvo estate look mint never mind anything else! The second one, I'm still stunned how somebody can stick a 2000 GSi hatch up for the guts of £2300 in that state and that's without even driving it. I'm just actually miffed that we didn't get the salesman more involved and ask him what planet he's from whilst pointing out the issues, of which there were many!

Yup I will do!
CV joint gone, along with wheel bearing so they have been replaced this morning.
However it now looks like i have a fairly serious oil leak from the oil pressure switch.
Dont you just love it when you take bits off to get to one problem to find another lol.

ps. i finally changed the wheel on KTPunto's corsa tonight , and the first drinks on her tomorrow apparently - im no holding my breath!!

aw noi fly in monday morning was hoping the snow would have left by then, well if there is any it will make up for the snow i didnt get to see at xmas hahaha
