On the Land Rover front, it starts, drives and holds water. It's still not right though. Instead i'm going to sort the problem by giving it more power! Not certain what route I'll take but a 4.6 Rangie block with some porting and a nice cam could be the answer!

It gets expensive when you add up all the little bits like cam, headers, bearings but it'd be worth it, a STD 4.6 would see a nearly 50bhp upgrade then if I could somehow afford Megasquirt with all my bits then I might be looking at 270bhp/300+lbft, could be adequate enough!

Seemingly ones sides leaking the other is insecure !
Even though we pumped it up to bleed them, they bled okay, but there's a leak....
must be small - but still a fail....ho hum
One side kept coming out of the clip on the cody, so that must be the insecure bit...wee bend to keep it in, and maybe a cable tie to the rescue on that.
Also advisories on rear pipes...so will just change them..small ones anyway.
But the most bizarre news is it's on the recall list !!!
2002 diesel van recalls on front axle body / which is lower subframe.
Seemingly the engine undertray can maintain water and promote corrosion...
So it's getting replaced free !lmao lmao

Yep, working shifts is balls! Fine when you get a few wknds off, ive 2 weeks off sep into oct (rota'd summer holidays), then im working 5 weekends in a row.
