Been busy with the van today, more to come tomorrow. Its really taking shape(the alloys fit, took a gamble as the seller "thought" they were et38, couldnt see any markings on them. Tried them on the rear with no springs and jacked the beam up, plenty clearance
)
Quiet in here tonight?
Boo!

anyone with tech2 here? We tried to connect op-com today, but my tiggy conversion couldn't be seen, just wondered if Tech2 would do, before ordering one
Cheers![]()

Did you try it under a Cavalier/Calibra/Astra?
It's not the original op-com, it's one of the cheap copies, like on the pic, below.
As we checked the engines that this copy supports, it doesn't have the c20xe, the least were ecotec ones.

Aha! I see what you mean. I don't think C20XE's used OBD-II. If it's just for fault codes, have you tried the paperclip test?
tried the paperclip, done the thing, but I need some additional features, that can't be done with papercliplike key-coding and airbag light reset (and I haven't yet sorted the steering wheel
)

lmaoLeast no one can drive the car away
Ah I see![]()
let us know how u get on with the op-com (as aparently you can code transponder/centrol locking with them)???
Van's remote central locking doesnt work from the key fob (led's not lighting on it. Still central locks with the key in the door barrel though)
Sod paying £150 from vauxhall when you can buy a blank key and transponder from ebay for around £25, which then needs cut(about a fiver) and programed
What is the paper clip test ?? i have heard it mentioned before in a thread on mig web but have no idea what it involves or solves
The man who smiles when things go wrong has thought of someone to blame it on :D
