I'd never seen a set in real life. Before I seen 'em in a issue of TV. Thought i'd never get a set of 'em......

Until I happened to find a set by chance in DA Autos in Dumfries. VERY lucky to get a set at the price I did, I think they would of scrapped them if I hadn't bought them.

Proper old school rims and well made. It'd take a fair hammering to buckle them.

Productive day here. Keith came over and we attacked the clutch in the Merc. John was there too, supervising apparently lmao.

So far the engine has been out, the new clutch is in, the engine is back in and we've lost a screwdriver and a spanner in the exhaust downpipe We've all came to the conclusion it's a **** of a job. 9 hours and we're only half way through Hopefully get it back on the road tomorrow though

Got my fto tonight. driving it from gorebridge was good fun. apart from the brakes being almost none exsistent. Almost came in my pants at the sound of it at 7500rpm. Never had a car rev so high. It's awesome. Can't wait to get it on the road now....

Spent all day with a multi meter to trace a fault......

Does the abs still work? Changed the sensor yet? An agreeable tester would pass it.

    Changed...

    ABS ECU
    Front sensors
    Rear sensor wires
    Rear NSR hub

Even done the pape clip on it. Got the ABS light to flash.....

Once and then it wanted to stay on all the time.

Oh and the ABS still don't work. Still getting no pulsing through the brake pedal.
