hehe, best get learning to weld

some amount of seam welding going to be needed there

might just have to make myself a 2.0 norsa (nova/corsa ) to be cheap and quick. astra gsi let sounds good too. so many choices!

Swarf injuries are awful, i had a nice burning out spiral cut my finger when it came off the lathe i had five similar cuts up my finger looked really cool actually fortunatley there was no blood as the hot metal seared my finger shut!

i remember years ago down at blackpool we went in to the tower waxworks and the theme was industrial accidents, some right nasty looking things, even if it was on wax but it showed the extent of what can happen to you when things go wrong at work

just keep telling yourself that

seriously though, you must be the first person that says its not a vw. everyone always defends them saying, "its just a volkswagen with different badges" lol with that logic my car is a corvette

Wasnt cheap lol. The cupra comes with more power as standard than the golf, also apparently handles better but i havent drove a golf to compare it too and everyone sais the cupra hasa nicer interior with the half leather buckets as standard

Afternoon folks! Hows everyone's days going?
I'm going to pick your brains lol!
I ordered in all the cv's for the XE conversion on the Corsa, the cavvy inners were fine so they got put on the shafts and built up but the corsa outers were wrong so they got taken back. When the new ones arrived I wanted to make sure the fit this time so put one on the end of one of the shafts......forgetting that the clip was in them and I hadn't put the boot on LOL! Soooo, what's the easiest way to get the clip back off? Longnose pliers aren't for working and I'm not having much with the circlip pliers either. Note to self: think before doing!

Alright all.

I'm off to look at another 3dr MK3 Astra tomorrow. Need a good shell, as i've been looking over the Cesaro and found it needs a lot of welding for the test. I'm fookin' gutted, I promised myself I wouldn't kill this one.
