Nice one mate. Bet your actually looking forward to getting back to work. Being unemployed is fun for a week but soon gets boring. Now you need to get yourself a nice red check shirt, some faded jeans, braces, and a long bit of grass!

Re: The Scottish Invasion thread!

at the checked shirt. All the "dungers" up here wear Scotland Rugby shirts, blue jeans and rigger boots. The only difference between their going out wear and their workwear is how clean or faded it is. Manky and faded = work, clean and new = going out.

All good guys that take a fair old scoop of drink and are not adverse to a wee fight or two.

Re: The Scottish Invasion thread!

Take my job! Please! Customers are SO bloody annoying! Delivered a crappy Ford Fusion to some dweeby lookin little man last week and he then decided he wanted rubber mats. Fine, I ordered the mats and delivered them a few days later. Another phone call - Oh good god the brackets that fix the mats down dont fit! So I looked into it, got all the info I could, and was planning on phoning him back tomorrow. Email arrived from him a few minutes ago, followed by another phone call, waffling on about flanges and brackets and screws and vertical slits and transverse metal box girders and angles and the positioning of the brackets into the mats and the girder!
He now wants me to forward his email onto Ford Direct to see if there's anything they can do.....Maybe they can get him a personality! ITS A SET OF MATS!!!

a4's are solid cars - Goods runners and still look tidy by todays standards if its got the S line styling !

Had a look at them myself - only reason I never bought one was because of the dash (Pathetic - however it just bugged me )

Mate its just not worth repairing - There was feck all in the local scrappys and I would end up spending £250 fixing something thats the same value as the car buying s/h **** on the net - postage on heavy stuff is a bitch

It was being sold anyway - Just this way Ive got to put a bit of effort in
