got back from the road trip about 2.30 this morning, took about 15hrs all in spent 2hrs messing
with the buggy, burnt £150 of fuel half of the time was pulling a single wheel car transporter
(which i now have, part of the deal)with buggy onboard at m/way speeds, the engine must have thought it was in a cally lmao
lmao @ cally. My bro is thinking of selling his trailer for his quad now that he has a caddy so its a pitty you dont need one Neil. Fold down ramp too but its a bit of a heap!
Hope there is pics coming once the camera is fixed. You get the wheels too?
ellie said that she flashed you the other night but you never flashed back. Must have been too busy looking at what she was flashing lmao
What do you reckon to this you lot?
http://pistonheads.com/sales/234092.htm
yep was checking id got the photo
not the actual ones but the same
was that flash at me sorry i mist it can't have been a actual flash, cars on the road to me are just objects to avoid and go blined to them as soon as i've sussed i've mist them
those wheels look ace. You keeping them silver? What sort of condition are they in?
Im looking to refurb some wheels. Gonna practice on my 2nd set of sport wheels, then do my god set and then my 17s.
i'm going for silver they need a refurb but are not too bad going to have to suss out a colour
im thinking Vaux star silver for mine. Either that or see what silvers look to be a close match at halfrauds.
all these boring people with silver wheels eh?![]()
hows the buggy neil? silly quick i bet!
martin-why not just get a 1.7 astra td and make it silly quick and economical? steal all the shiny bits from your one! beats having 2 cars.
how far you got to commute? bear in mind you need to do around 10k to break even with a petrol (cost to buy the car/extra fuel cost/etc)
45 miles there and 45 miles back home. 5 if not 6 times a week.
450 miles a week and roughly 21000miles per year! Not cheap! lmao Might be my right foot thats to blame though lmao
ah well maybe a diesel could be sensinble. that car must be on astra-nomicalmileage!
oh well, lugy be single againgutted
still life goes on.
ha, youv never had a v6. everything involves removing anything!
coolant hose? remove the inlet manifold!
same. beer paint+fumes*enclosed space(relentless+pub) = win
^supposed to be an equation
not good news on the buggy front, the turbo squeals like a dry bearing further investigation at home reveals no oil going anywhere, had a look at the pressure relief valve, looked ok next its
engine out and have a look at the oil pump
uh-oh. hope i aint found you a dud. still easy to fix. does it have an ic btw?
it compretion tested 13.5 bar all cylinders good sign of not been seized, turbo will be noisy but
might still work.just got to get some oil round it to see what like, don't know how long its been
run with no oil press, all the chap said "it doesent smoke"of corse it dont smoke theres no oil going round it
