Just to get a list of any local (Scotland!) companies, garages, bodyshops, Vx dealers, service providers etc so you can have a quick glance.

Only companies you have had good experiences with though please - we do not want this to turn into a 'burn list'

Very friendly mechanics, knowledgeable, efficient and not just 'part fitters'. Cheaper than most main dealers.

Excellent service for machining obscure parts including nuts and bolts. Have heard rumours that they do shot blasting alloys but please do not quote me on that.

back onto my earlier praise for ian glass vauxhall. just went to belmont in seafield to drop my car of for warranty work and pick up a courtesy car. except the boy dealing with it seemed to forget to book the courtesy car. even though i must of said around5 times on the phone and thats why i was waiting 2 weeks to get the job done. anyway just driven the extra 15 miles to ian glass. can get a courtesy car on firday, (getting it monday cause of billing though) even though belmont would take til the middle of next week for one. then theres trhe next problem of actually getting the car fixed. il post up when it gets done at glasses and let people know what they are like. they'll be pretty good i imagine though.
