I have spoken to my guy who usually does all the work on my car and he cant swap my old XE for the new for ages anyone know anyone near Ayr who could do it?

Or if a migger fancies doing it there will be cash waiting and some beer too.

If you've never done anything like this before, label everything as you remove it and take pictures as you go along. Have tubs / bags for bolts / screws that you remove and FFS don't lose anything lmao
Sandwiches and laminated printouts!? You widnae get this at AVA...

And don't fall out with the missus when you doing it, or if you do, hide all the bits, cos when you go to put it back together, you might find the vindictive little cow has chucked bags and bags of bolts, nuts n screwslmao Its a right pig trying to put a car back together with random stuff collected from 4 other cars.......

Its a bit smokey, not too bad thought and it leaks from pretty much everywhere lmao Its in need of a rebuild, but I was just about to do it and a good deal for a new one already rebuilt came up.

^Damn that actually happened! You must have been raging!

This is the spec as it stands

    20XE From A 1989 Astra GTE 16v
    F20 Gear Box
    Bottom End Fully Rebuilt
    Head Rebuilt
New lifters, Valves, Bronze Valve Guides (SBD), Ported And Polished
    Courtenay Cams
Turbo Sport Vernier Cam Timing Gear
    Billet Alloy Crank Pulley
Ecotec Elbow (Powercap, 15bhp o rly?)
Sard Type-RJ Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
    Sard Fuel Pressure Gauge
    Ashley Exhaust Manifold
    CoolTec Exhaust Manifold Heat Wrap
Powerflow 2.25” Stainless Steel De-Cat Exhaust
    K&N Cone Filter

This is the engine thats coming out, think im gonna clean the cam cover and plug cover up and swap them onto the new one. Got most of the parts I need just waiting on the engine arriving, hoping it will be early next week.

Looking for a good deal on an oil cooler just now and I need to get a timing belt kit. Still waiting on my mig card so I can get some discount action! Oh yeah and im gonna paint the bay black to get rid of that nasty green colour.
