Also interested in this, would be good to see what the old nova is running after all these years.
Be tricky to get one booked, i organised one for my local site and we had to wait a good few months.

Would prefer Russ @ Wallace again if possible? Unless dastek is easier for most?

well wallace is good for most but a poll would decide where is best, i would like to go to wallace again but thats just my opinion, and hopefully im home for it as i have missed all the good bloody events this year,

    Personal preference mate

Im sure they can do a good job - If not i would be telling people to stay away and have it somewhere else. Personally though after me and a friend was treated I wouldn't hand over 1p to them again.

Personally I would be wanting Wallace - as I missed the last one and will need the astra on the rollers anyway before PVS

rubix cube, i had the same problem with a.v.a, i went to them for info on a price for an xe conversion on my last nova and they said the price would idepended on which way my engine went in, now correct me if im wrong but i always thought there was only 1 way to put an engine in, manouver it in to place and tighten up engine mount bolts

Probably a Saturday from Russ's point of view but I think he is easy either way. If he is guarantee'd 20 cars running at £30 or £35 a pop, its an easy £6-700 for a days work! (Which I would do on a Sunday... )

Just to help out, the weekend of 14th/15th July is not good for me. If it was the start of June then I am laughing - I have time off booked for then.

I dont understand that about AVA i only trust them with my car. The trouble is they get so much bull all day long and i think they miss out on genuine customers.

is a remap for a NA motor a) worth it and b) cheaper than that for a Turbo?

A remap on an N/A car is about the same price and will give a really small gain in BHP but will increase drivability. Russ is (IIRC) £399 for an N/A remap and says it will add 5-10% at the most. Remaps on turbo's give up to 40%! (Hint hint.... go buy a turbo you meanie!)

Im getting a significant raise at work so I might be in the market for something else. Hangon.... i remember.....I have a turbo Rob! LOL. Kinda smoked the head on it on Sat hence the drinking thread and the avatar

I just wanted to get the powercurve normal on the sport as it dips seriously between 2 and 3K.

Back to topic - Any weekend is usually OK for me.
