How about a convoy? 13th May?

Thinking something along the lines of......

I start here, drive to Aberdeen and meet some folk, down to Dundee and pick up some more, across to Perth, Edinburgh, Glasgow, up the Glen's passed Fort William to Inverness then back round the way I came, dropping people off?

Maybe when the weather is a bit better but having some stops to take pics and get some munchies. everyone would be doing the same amount of miles *roughly* and would be a good way of meeting some more folk? And it would be a great drive!!!

I was thinking maybe a Saturday or Sunday. If we were to meet in Aberdeen at about 9am, it would leave plenty time to get it all done in a day.

I would need to book time off for it but definitely when the good weather starts - maybe into May? Or the end of April?

Just a big 'Scotland Road Trip' really. Lots of pics, lots of country roads and lots of people and cars.

nova = moderately quick, looks unusual on the road, handles nicely, gets comments from fellow enthusiasts

corsa = fairly rapid, looks like every other ****ter on the road, handles acceptably, arouses no comment from anyone ever apart from " is your exhaust blowing"

Id rather have nova fiished in time :P

No matter what people are driving - its all about having a laugh and meeting some of the crowd.

Anyone else up for the 'Tour Of Scotland'

    Aberdeen

    Dundee

    Perth

    Edinburgh

    Glasgow

    Fort William

    Inverness

Then back round the same way. By Inverness we should have everyone and could go bowling or whatever to have a laugh or pass time or just park up and compare willy sizes?!

So.... get your names down and I will sort out some dates...

Please put your starting location down too (from the list) so we know who is where.

    Rob - Starting from Inverness

This sounds pretty good, depending on dates etc I could be up for this.

Meeting point for me would probably be Edinburgh, could go to Dundee but would be like goin backwards to come forwards! lol
