looking at booking some places on the gmsc track night in early may


dates tbc along with exact times and costs

yeah alistair but its like a 1600 mile round trip even with the diesel lol

unless theres some other reason, why not fly down with easyjet or something for 20 quid, and then drive back?

you sure about that Rob? I worked in Essex last summer and I'm quite sure I didnt put that many miles on my cally turbo each weekend (I'd have had to fit a new txb each trip )

yyeah its not that far i dont think. maybe half that. i went to essex to bu a car a while back, its great goin away for the day to see a car, i love it.

furthest ive went is brighton.

dont know if it would be worth it in a 1200 nova, but then it could be fun getting let loose on a track, wouldnt be fun getting maul'd by everything however

go for it, mines only 1400, so Ill appear to be going backwards anyway. Im just after the track experience without the risk of bending the car!

I changed the engine and suspension in mine in a weekend, if the valvers alreadywired in he should be able to get ti done for March??

dunno if ill even have a car on the road to be honest. i havent right now. its sitting in the drive SORN'ed and with no MOT. dunno what it needs either but i know it needs a windscreen and a backbox and probably welding (its a nova ), and the back brakes and a wheel bearing needs done to. and with no motivation its not getting done in any hurry, lol.

keepin my eye out for a cheap wee gsi or gte aswell incase thats gony be less hassle that fixing mine.
