admin can go whistle i'm taking over :)

right guys i'm getting a bit pissed off waiting on the nod from admin to co-ordinate through out the region so sod them i'm taking over.




first order of buisiness is to get a meet schedule organised



first meeting we have on the cards is

Sunday 13th February-Strathclyde park

meeting at the holiday inn carpark (or tobys carvery whatever you wanna call it) names on the seperate thread


also organising a central belt meeting place see the poll in the region section
will post more details on our fortnightly meets once we settle on a location(its a democracy so its only fair

northern meets i'll try and sort out somewhere tonight will the northen boys please pm me with some suitable locations ie where you would like as unofficial regional co-ord i'll try and make an effore to make it up as often as possible but bear in mind even aberdeens a 400 mile round trip

any thoughts just post here or pm me its your region i'm just trying to make sommat of it

Well done Rob. Sunday sounds good, And fortnightly meets sound ideal. Could we have one of the quarterly meets at knockhill?? Weekenny seems Genned up on this.

as i said in the other thread.

although i am not part of the scottish region i feel i must comment.

although i respect the fact that you are doing your best to keep the region alive i think you are going about it in completly the wrong way. I do think you would be the best person for the job because u have a lot of enthusiasm and you will do the region proud but instead of going in headfirst and basically saying bollocks to admin i think you should wait to see what they have to say.

as scott_g has said tom is not in the country at the moment but he will be back soon and this will be one of the first things on his list.

I am sure that every region is as important to mig staff as the next one but what you are doing at the moment is not helping the situation i thinka bit more deplomecy is in order

yeah well if we keep waiting on Tom or any of the other admin ok'ing what i'm doing there wont be any events in 2005

been waiting for a reply since the first week in january now

Aberdeen is a 300 mile round trip here too.

I am all for the regular meets, so long as they are not on weekends as I get about 1 sunday out of 8 off and I have a wedding looming but I am willing to make every effort possible to attend as and when I can.

I would have thought that maybe Pitlochry or Dalwhinnie would be a semi-decent central point.
