Next BIG meet

Following the success of our last meet in Stirling, we are organising this again.
The dates are 1st and 2nd of May.
We will meet in Stirling on 1st may in the afternoon/evening, have a night out in the town and on the sunday proceed to Crail where there is a Max Power show.

from the Crail site....
Bigger than last year and better than before RUSS SWIFT,MAX POWER FUEL road show,7th HEAVEN ,large tented trade area, more to follow when acts/shows confirm.9am start till late £10.00 entry our first cruise 1/4 mile show of the summer....

bound to be plenty of cars, girls and a few trade stands.
Bear in mind though that big magazine days always attract large crowds so runs on the strip might involve very long queues.

We will book B&B for the saturday night.
Going on last time, this worked out at £22 ish per person, based on people sharing twin rooms. Good breakfast and fairly secure off-road parking.

All those who want to attend please post below as soon as possible so I can get an idea of numbers.

I will need payment or at least a deposit closer to the time so I can book the accomodation.

Thanks,
Dave and Kenny.

With this new job I have its impossible to make plans in advance, let alone say if I will be able to stay overnight.

Im "on call" so to speak so could get a call in the morning and have to be at work within a few hours.

Ok, we are going to need deposits for the accomodation soon. The costs are around £22 each, the exact figure will depend on final numbers, so a ten pound deposit seems fair. Deposits are obviously non-refundable in the event of not turning up to the meet.

We will take deposits from anyone who will be attending the forth-coming Crail event, and I will sort out a method of payment for others within the next few days.

Thanks,
Dave and kenny.

The above list is for the night out only, people who are attending Crail only please do not add yourself to the list as we're trying to sort accomodation for the night out first.

Details of the meeting place for those attending crail will be posted nearer the time

Looking better for the night out this time guys. Kenny, I can send a cheque for the deposit to you, thought I may see you beforehand if you are doing Dwarf's rod bolts.

no official MIG stand just yet but I will be contacting Crail nearer the time to see if we can secure a wee area in the paddock.

This is tricky though as a few of us will be running on the strip and its not too easy to move between the show arena and the strip queues once it gets busy, and we dont want to have a half-hearted looking stand with a few cars on it and a load of empty spaces.

We may just have to play it by ear.
