I forgot to ask: are you locking your transfer box or are you using the hydraulics?

| Re: GTE V6 T3 Nitros Plan Anyone know were i can get the wiring diagram for the 2.5 v6 ecu...is the same set up as the hanze manual for the omegas??..im looking to get a aftermarket ecu which controls engine, nos and fuel, if not one that can do the management and then i can get add-ons for the fuel and turbo if needed. First i need to strip down the ecu loom i have and check everything is there... |

| Re: GTE V6 T3 Nitros Plan The haynes manual for the relevant car will have the wiring Diagrams.
Cavalier and Vectra manuals included, although they don't have any detail on the V6 engine.

| Re: GTE V6 T3 Nitros Plan Hi gang
Car is going well should hae some new pics soon 9might have to start a new thread. I have hit a bit of a bad patch...just come back from a fantasti holiday on my birthday, the first i have been on for over 4 years and the first i have been on with my dad and sisters since my mum passed away with cancer last year..felt good when i came back..went into work on monday and by 8.45..was dismised and now im unemployed due to me telling the boss to go and f**k off, short story is that she hated the way i ran my area and filed my work, i was set a target of Ј500,00 to get each month and most months i was getting Ј600,00 to Ј700,00 in...got the debts down and the costs also but she wanted me to run it her way which would have to loads of time to do each job, in the end she did my job when i was on holiday and found she didn't like my precess, so wrote a letter to me telling me that i had the day off to 'reflect on my postion', which i told her to reflect on my finger.. walked out swinging the door open and banging it agaist the wall and then spent most of the week going to Citezens advice and back to work for meetings on my 'future'..on friday i was told i had the sack due to 'violent conduct towards her', so now all of the letters and comments are with the CA for an appel...but all in all i feel released as i hated the job and i hated her..she was a bully and sack two staff for going for an interveiw somewere else. So now im setting up my own business and forgetting about them...and getting some more time on the car.
Went to size up the engine in the bay today and do a bit of the electrics but rain was stopping play..so i l sat in the garage listening to Arsenal winning 4-0..(go on you gunners) while polishing my heads. Lets hope tomorrow is a better day. |

| Re: GTE V6 T3 Nitros Plan Evening gang.
Been a poor weekend this one...rain stop play on saturday, but i did get to pick up a new GTE front bumper from Novacab Lou (cheers babes..hope the pregnacy goes well.. ) and did get to order some bits and bobs of ebay and other places.
Sunday was better (untill Arsenal lost... ..get you guys at home next time). To fit the v6 in i cut away the old drivers side engine mount and fabricated up a 'L' shape braket out of 5mm steel...to connect on the original v6 enginge mount and to clear the way for the steering pump..fitted purfect..solid as anything and easy to remove. pic below but i will get a better one for you to see.
so with the engine temp in all i have to do next weekend is cut the rear bulk head to fit the 4x4 unit a bit better and finish off the turbo pipework, as you can see i have plenty of room to fit the turbo over the gearbox now.
roll on next weekend. |
