Christ you've got your hands full with this! I'm surprised there's any clean metal there to weld back to, and knowing how bad evos rust too, finding one that isn't rotten will be tough. Good luck, sounds like it's going to be a tough job.

Re: 4x4 NOVA VAN EVO 4

Im going to be putting on some new outer sills, and making my own inner sills,

The a posts and inner rear panel will be sand blasted, so will all be new and clean to weld to.

Ive got the evo 4 , i found one with rotten sills, which i will be removing anyway, so bonus.

Im just finishing a mk1 astra van on a toyota celica gt4 floor, this will be very similar with what we have to do.

    Now we re getting somewhere.

Some more foam tut tut !

    Dont need these.

Doesnt look like an evo now !

Water had got into the a posts and was just sat there.

We bob tailed the back end, to take the short arse nova

We need to mount the AYC pump somewhere else.

Power to weight is increasing all the time, another few kg off the build

    Nova sill

Nova sill offered up to evo

Need to shorten the wheelbase which is the next job

Looks to be taking shape now the back end has gone.
